Art Requirements
Providing camera-ready art or art on disk will ensure production of the highest quality products. Please include all fonts and spot colors with any artwork submitted. If spot colors are not provided, Callaway Golf will match colors as close as possible to artwork submitted. All fonts and or placed images must be converted to outlines (or curves) prior to being sent. Artwork on disk should be an Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand or Adobe Photoshop file only.
Vector graphics, which Adobe Illustrator and Freehand create, also called "draw graphics", consist of smooth lines that retain their clarity when scaled. Vector art is requested due to the need our designers have when working with logos, illustrations, type and graphics that are typically scaled to different sizes.
Artwork on disk can be sent using the following types of disks: 3.5" floppy diskette, Compact Disc or Zip Disk (Macintosh or PC format).
Art files must meet the following requirements:
Macintosh: (preferred)
Adobe Illustrator (versions 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.02, 10)
Adobe Photoshop (versions 5.0, 5.50, 6.01, 7.0)
Macromedia Freehand
Intel/Windows: Adobe Illustrator (versions 7.0, 8.0)
Adobe Photoshop (versions 4.0, 5.0, 6.0, 7.0)
Corel Draw (versions 6.0, 7.0, 8.0)
Unacceptable Art
The following are unacceptable: Logos from letterhead or any Xerox copy; PC files not listed above, JPEG files, e-mailed files that are low-resolution; low -resolution files/logos downloaded from your website; artwork or logos printed on coasters, napkins, labels, t-shirts or any other foreign object.
