TECHNOLOGY
XTRA WIDTH TECHNOLOGY
XWT - Xtra Width Techonology - provides the player with the ability to adjust and customize fit. This system allows each golfer to adjust his or her individual fit, from medium to wide or medium to narrow - by simply adding or removing one of the unique XWT forefoot layers from the insole. Xtra Width Technology also offers the user to adjust the fit between the left and right shoe depending upon the length and fit difference of the feet.
RAINSPORT / DRYSPORT
Callaway Golf's proprietary DrySport moisture management and RainSport waterproof technologies provide golfers the ultimate in comfort and dryness. Key features such as moisture-wicking linings and breathable waterproof systems are engineered into every Callaway Golf shoe. BIG BERTHA SPIKES
The Big Bertha Spike by Callaway Golf brings "state of the art" traction technology to the golf consumer. Unlike traditional golf spikes, the Big Bertha Spike's oversized, asymmetrical design provides more power and performance while playing. The lightweight dual-density construction also gives the golfer increased durability, comfort and traction under most surface conditions. The Big Bertha Spike has been designed specifically for maximum performance to fit the complete range of Callaway Golf Footwear.
2-YEAR WATERPROOF
Callaway Golf Footwear is guaranteed to be waterproof under normal use for two years from the date of original proof of purchase, provided that the shoes have received adequate maintenance, have suffered no cuts, abrasions or other damage and have not been subjected to abuse, mistreatment or excessive wear.
XTT = XTRA TRACTION TECHNOLOGY
A proprietary articulation system with two unique and distinctive styles, each providing superior traction for the ultimate in performance. No one else has them because no one else can do it.
- Independent Suspension: The original XTT system works much like the suspension system in an automobile, with each Big Bertha Spike moving independently, adjusting at all times to changing surfaces and slopes. This creates excellent traction and performance throughout the round, whether you're standing on grass, dirt or sand. This system is available in the XTT Tour Series, XTT Chev Tour Saddle and XTT Premiere.
- Lateral Stability: This XTT system is designed to provide the ultimate stability during the swing. With a spike cup that's soft on the instep and rigid on the outstep, the Big Bertha Spike has phenomenal lateral traction and all but eliminates the possibility of slipping during the golf swing. This system is available in the XTT Center Saddle and XTT Grand Slam.
