COBRA is introducing a third color option in the ZL Encore Driver, giving consumers the choice between Black, White or the all new Red version. The ZL Encore Driver features E9 Face Technology™ with dual roll and a multi-material construction with a carbon fiber crown and sole for ultimate performance, maximum forgiveness and maximum distance. Ian Poulter has been playing the white ZL Encore since late 2011 when the driver was first introduced.

Multi-Material Construction

Advanced, lightweight materials such as continuous carbon fiber in the sole and crown, high strength titanium in the face and aluminum in the hosel sleeve, enable re-positioning of up to 35 grams of mass to optimize center of gravity (CG) while maintaining high moment of inertia (MOI). The result is maximum distance and forgiveness.

A Smarter Sweet Zone®

Most drivers have a circular sweet spot because club designers assume that’s the shape of most golfer’s mis-hits. Well, we tested thousands of golfers and learned something new: typical mis-hits occur in an elliptical pattern as shown by the 25,000 captured shots here.

Elliptical, Hotter Face

We created E9 Face Technology™ with an elliptical face shape-—driving a 30% larger Sweet Zone. Golfers benefit by hitting longer, more accurate drives because the face has been designed knowing where miss-hits really occur.

Dual Roll

This revolutionary new design has different curvature on the top vs. the bottom of the face. Each loft is designed with a specific upper roll vs. lower roll, resulting in longer drives for shots hit above and below face center.

Adjustable Flight Technology™ (AFT)

Three simple face angle settings (Closed, Neutral and Open) allow you to optimize ball flight, yielding increased distance and improved accuracy.
